Preliminary guide retreats
Vajrasattva Purification Retreat
June 9-14, 2008 (Introduction June 8th at 6:30pm)
Session Times: 7am, 10:30am, 4pm, 7pm
Vajrasattva is the Buddha of purification. During this retreat we have the opportunity to purify our negativity by engaging in the purification practices of Buddha Vajrasattva. Through this practice we can remove both the causes of our future suffering and obstacles to our spiritual practice.
Guru Yoga Mandala Offering Retreat

A special practice combining Guru yoga and mandala offerings that enables us to strengthen and deepen our connection with the Spiritual Guide.
Stages of the Path (Lamrim) Retreat
August 25-30, 2008 (Introduction August 24th at 6:30pm)

A systematic meditation on the 21 Lamrim meditations. Lamrim means "the stages of the path to enlightenment" and is the condensation of all Buddha’s teachings. Meditating on Lamrim is the supreme way to solve our daily problems and find lasting happiness.
Refuge Retreat

In the Loving Care of Arya Tara – 24-hour Tara Chanting

Begin the New Year in the company of spiritual friends, making powerful prayers, offerings and praises to our holy mother Tara. She has promised to always care for us and through engaging in this special practice over 24 hours we will receive her special blessings and protection for ourselves and others.
This retreat is in six sessions, every four hours through the night – 7pm, 11am, 3am, 7am, 11am, 3pm
Great Mother Day Retreat
At the fall festival in Paris, Venerable Geshe-la will give teachings and empowerment on the practice of "The Great Mother." Following the festival, Kelsang Jampa will lead a one day retreat on this profound practice to give us an opportunity to become more familiar with it.

At various times throughout the year, TTP students engage in concentrated retreats on the four Great Preliminary Guides, 4 sessions each day. These retreats are most appropriate for students with some experience. However, anyone is welcome to attend.
