Retreat: March 12-17

In this annual retreat we focus on the preliminary practices of accumulating merit, or positive energy, by making mandala offerings and receiving powerful blessings by engaging in the Guru Yoga practice of Je Tsongkhapa.

Je Tsongkhapa, whose ordained name was Losang Dragpa, was a great 14th century Tibetan Buddhist Master who promoted and developed the Kadampa Buddhism that Atisha had introduced three centuries earlier.

Mandala offering  is n offering of the entire universe visualized as a Pure Land, with all its inhabitants as pure beings. See Guide to Dakini Land and Great Treasury of Merit.

This retreat is free and everyone is welcome to attend. Sessions are one and one-half hours long; prayers are provided.

Schedule

Session Times Daily: 7:30 am, 10:30 am, 4:30 pm and 7pm.
Wednesday March 14 at 7pm is General Program class; everyone is welcome.
