A Place of Refuge in Lubbock
The blessing ceremony and grand opening for the new commercial space in Lubbock was held February 5th and 6th. It was a joyous occasion! 17 people attended the blessing ceremony and made prayers for the space to become a place of refuge and inspiration for the people in Lubbock. 40 people attended Kelsang Jampa's teaching on Saturday morning, in which he explained that cherishing others is the essence of the Kadampa way of life and that the best way to help others is to help them to progress spiritually. Making spiritual progress is the only way to find lasting inner peace and happiness. How wonderful that now there is a space in Lubbock which is dedicated to this purpose!
