Everyone can find lasting happiness by developing a calm and peaceful mind. Meditation and Modern Buddhism gives us the power to actually achieve this. At this event enjoy a guided meditation and learn the simple and effective techniques that will make true happiness your everyday reality.

Having recently given this talk in Australia, American Buddhist monk Gen-la Jampa will be speaking at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden's auditorium.  


SPEAKER

Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is an international teacher of Kadampa Buddhism. He is the Deputy Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher of KMC Texas.

Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings, and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.

ENJOY A DAY OUT AT THE BOTANIC GARDENS

Enjoy a talk and guided meditation with American Buddhist Monk Gen-la Kelsang Jampa and the natural beauty of the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.  The gardens have 23 specialty gardens including the world-renowned Japanese Garden, koi-filled pools, sculptured hillsides, crafted stonework and waterfalls. Delicious lunches are available in the Gardens Restaurant.
