The Stillness Within: A Retreat on Improving Concentration

If we are new to meditation, or even having practiced for some time, our mind is largely distracted and unclear. It’s difficult to stay focused on our object of meditation for very long, and it is not easy to return to our object when we forget it! We can improve the quality of our meditation, by improving our concentration. By learning how to train our mind in the proper methods, and then putting those techniques into practice happily and consistently, the quality of our meditations will definitely improve. By gaining a taste of deeper meditation on retreat, we can be more inspired and confident to practice meditation in daily life.

Here you can read a special message from Gen Kelsang Menla, our Resident Teacher, about the beautiful gift of retreat. Click Here.

Registration is now closed.

Silence also includes non-verbal communication.

You may want to bring a notebook for taking notes and your own meditation cushion if you have one, although cushions and chairs will be provided.
