Buddha Vajrapani is the embodiment of enlightened spiritual power. His nature is compassion and his fierce appearance displays a powerful ability to overcome negativity.
What is an Empowerment?
An Empowerment includes teachings and guided meditations through which we connect with Buddha Vajrapani and receive his blessings. This helps us to increase our power to overcome negativity and achieve spiritual realizations.

Teachers for The Event
Gen Kelsang Menla has been a practicing Buddhist for 20 years, was ordained as a Kadampa Buddhist monk in 2001, and has taught Kadampa Buddhism since that time. He brings a warm heart and joyful attitude to sharing Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation.
Fatin Kratochvil has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for 13 years. She teaches the Monday night class in Dallas and studies on the Teacher Training Program. She enjoys sharing her love for Buddha's teachings and meditation and finding practical ways to implement them into all aspects of her life.
John McKethan has been studying and practicing for over 14 years and during that time has taught at several of our Metroplex locations. He brings a light-hearted yet sincere approach to teaching so that meditation and Buddhism is accessible for everyone. John currently teaches the Ft. Worth Sunday morning class.

11:15am – 1:00pm: Vajrapani Empowerment with Gen Kelsang Menla
1:00pm – 2:30pm: Lunch
2:30pm-4:00pm: Teaching with Gen Kelsang Menla
4:30-5:30: Guided Meditation on Vajrapani practice with John McKethan
