Healing From the Inside Out: Medicine Buddha Empowerment
Join us for this special event in which you will receive the blessing empowerment of Medicine Buddha.
We all experience physical or mental illnesses. Where do these illnesses ultimately come from, is there a way to remove their causes and is it possible to become free from pain?
The healing power throughout the universe is embodied in Medicine Buddha. He has a body of radiant blue wisdom light and holds a heavenly medicinal plant in his right hand, which symbolizes his extraordinary power to heal body and mind. Through receiving the empowerment, we make a special connection with Medicine Buddha, receive support in our own path of healing and learn how to tap into and cultivate the healing potential that exists within.
In the empowerment, Gen Menla will give an introduction to Medicine Buddha, guide us in meditations that connect us to Medicine Buddha, and give us the transmission of the Medicine Buddha mantra. In the afternoon teachings, we will learn how to engage in a powerful healing practice that we can use to help heal ourself and others.
