FOUNDATION PROGRAM

Foundation Program (FP) offers a more structured and thorough approach to learning Buddhism and taking meditation to a deeper level. The program works like this:

  • Study one book at a time, going through each section slowly

  • Meditate each week on what we studied the previous week

  • Discuss in pairs and with the whole group, to share with each other and learn from each other.

FP is perfect for anyone whether new to Kadampa Buddhism or having already attended GP classes for some time. For the strength of program and each others learning enrolment is required.

  • Contact us with your interest: EPC@MeditationInTexas.org

  • If you would like to check out the class before enrolling you are welcome to sit in for a couple of weeks!

Teacher

Fatin Krotavil has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for 13 years and is currently on our Teacher Training Program. She enjoys sharing her love for Buddha's teachings and meditation and finding practical ways to implement them into all aspects of her life. During the day Fatin works as a Financial Analyst at a global firm in Dallas. She is married and both she and her partner enjoy volunteering at the center and helping to teach the kids class.
