During this retreat we will learn how to do the Buddhist healing meditation called Taking and Giving. Taking and Giving is a beautiful and powerful method to become free from negativity, illness and personal problems. In addition it helps us to create a great amount of positive karma and develop our good heart.

Location

Enjoy the natural beauty of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden in Texas. While there you can enjoy a stroll in the gardens and a wonderful lunch in the cafe with friends or family. 

Teacher

Gen Kelsang Menla is an American Buddhist Monk ordained for 15 years and is an experienced teacher who brings joy and warmth to sharing Buddha's teachings and the practice of meditation. Learn more about Gen Menla on our About Us page

Schedule

Session #1: 10.00am - 11.00am
Session #2: 12noon - 1.00pm
Session #3: 3.00pm - 4.30pm

The course includes guided meditations, Buddhist teaching, and Q&A. Refreshments are served in the break.
