In this mini-retreat designed especially for beginners, you will learn how to meditate  and the Buddhist approach to training the mind. Applying these methods in your everyday life will lead to greater happiness, well-being  and a sense of purpose and harmony in your relationships.


Jacqueline McKethan began studying meditation and Buddhism in 2005 at Kadampa Meditation Center North Carolina and continued her studies at Kadampa Meditation Center Texas when she moved to Dallas in 2008. She is enrolled in the Teacher Training Program and teaches 1/2 day courses and mini-retreats in Dallas and our Branches. Learn more about Jacqueline on our About Us page.


Session 1:  2.00-3.15pm
Break:  3.15-4.15pm
Session 2:  4.15-5.30pm

The mini retreat includes guided meditations, Buddhist teaching, and Q&A. Refreshments are served in the break.


$25 if you pre-register | $30 Door.
$25 for Student & Seniors 60+ with I.D.
