Foundation Program- Dallas

SUNDAYS 2.00PM—5.00PM

 

The purpose of the Foundation Program is to provide a systematic presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism to enable practitioners to deepen their knowledge and experience of the spiritual path. Each class includes chanted prayers to prepare the mind for the teaching, a guided meditation, a teaching, group discussion, tea break, and Q&A. 

This is an in depth study program and not a drop-in class. Enrollment is required. For an introduction please attend our drop-in classes.

Current Book: New Heart of Wisdom

We are currently studying Part Two of this book. Part Two is a perfect introduction to the Stage of the Path to Enlightenment and place to start the study of Kadampa Buddhism. If you are interested in learning more about this program just get in touch.

The purpose of the Teacher Training Program is to provide an extensive presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism to enable practitioners to deepen their knowledge and experience of Buddhism, and to train as qualified New Kadampa Tradition teachers. 

The program is comprised of twelve subjects, based on Buddha’s Sutra and Tantra teachings and corresponding commentaries by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. 

This is not a drop-in class. Enrollment is required and you must attend both evening classes.  If you are interested in learning more about this program just get in touch.
