Four Immeasurable Attitudes of Loving-Kindness

A Meditation Series at KMC Texas

Sundays from 11:00 am - 12:15 pm
In-Person or Online for Streaming Pass Members

Feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!

The Four Immeasurables are a traditional Buddhist practice that helps us develop a loving heart and a fresh perspective on the world. We won't simply be developing any old perspective—we will learn to see the world through the lenses of love and compassion in an active and energizing way. Our relationships with others will improve as a result of this practice, and we will find that we experience greater peace and happiness. With every challenge we face, these four attitudes empower us to be part of the positive solution.

Special Mother’s Day Class with Brunch

On May 11 we will celebrate Mother’s Day with a special class.

Learning to Love Unconditionally: Relationships Beyond Ordinary

It is said that a mother’s love is unconditional. However, we can learn to develop unconditional love without being a mom. Everyone has the potential for limitless love—we just need to learn how to overcome the obstacles to loving others and the techniques for loving unconditionally.

This special class will be followed by a Mother’s Day brunch from 12:15 pm to 2 pm. We will be serving quiche, french toast casserole, fresh fruit and fruit juices, croissants and more.

Everyone is welcome!

What to expect:

  • Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
  • Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
  • Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
  • Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
