Guided Retreat: The Spiritual Path ... in a Weekend!
Lamrim means stages of the path to enlightenment, and refers to a series of meditations that help us to transform the nature of our mind so that we have more positive qualities and perspectives. This sequence of meditations is at the heart of Buddha's teachings in general and Kadampa Buddhism in particular. We will have a weekend introductory retreat that will take us through a set of meditations that help us to establish the basis for spiritual practice.
All sessions include brief teachings, and the meditations are guided. Each session will also include the special prayers called Heart Jewel, these prayers are very meaningful. You can attend according to your schedule; it isn't necessary to attend every session. Of course, the more sessions you attend, the more solid your foundation will be.
