The Power to Change: Beating Bad Habits

Meditation Class at KMC Texas

with Gen Wangpo
Wednesdays from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
In-Person Only

Feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!

Have you every thought about where our habits come from? If we look at how habits develop and how we stay trapped following them, then we can free overselves from their influence. Buddha's teachings were given specifically to help us free ourselves from bad habits, even the worst and most subtle of them all.

This class will be very practical and helpful for creating change in our lives. Everyone can apply these simple and practical teachings and let go of their bad habits.

What to expect:

  • Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
  • Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
  • Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
  • Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.

Venue

Classes are held at Inclusion Coffee, where the founders believe that some things that go without saying - acceptance, love and respect - should be said the most.
