A Science of Happiness - The Positive Psychology of Buddhism

A Four Week Meditation Series at KMC Texas

Tuesdays from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Buddhism has a positive psychology approach to cultivating happiness and well-being. In these classes, you will learn how to enhance self-awareness, manage stress, and regulate emotions through evidence-based techniques such as mindfulness, gratitude, and compassion. Discover the power of positive relationships, inner peace, and resilience. 

May 7 – What Mindfulness Really Is
May 14 – The Power of Gratitude
May 21 – Imagery, Labeling and Creating New Experiences
May 28 – Knowing Compassion, Knowing Ourself

Everyone is welcome! 

What to expect:

  • Classes are approximately 1 hour long.
  • Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for daily life.
  • Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
  • Although part of a series, each class self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
