Registration

Start the year by giving yourself some time and space to set a spiritual motivation. Get away from it all and enjoy a group retreat with the KMC Texas community as we travel up to Lake Texoma for a beautiful weekend retreat.

We will have the opportunity to be guided in meditations that emphasize the meaningful advice that the great Buddhist master Atisha shared over 1,000 years ago, which is still relevant for a happy life in our modern, busy world. All sessions are guided by our Resident Teacher, American Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Wangpo, and will lead us on the path to a more peaceful and happy new year.

Gen Wangpo is the Resident Teacher at KMC Texas.

Gen Wangpo has spent more than 20 years studying the skillful and compassionate teachings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and has been teaching Dharma since 2004. Motivated by a deep commitment to helping others discover a meaningful spiritual path, Gen Wangpo inspires students to experience the transformative benefits of Buddha's wisdom.
