Retreat and Re-Engage with The Yoga of Buddha Heruka

Attendance for this event is limited to those with a Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment or a sincere wish to receive one at the next opportunity

The Brief Self-Generation of Heruka Body Mandala is a simple method to practice our tantric visualizations. The brevity of this sadhana allows us to give extra time to our meditations. 

During the retreat, we will build on the blessings from the empowerments and teachings of the International Summer Festival. Relying upon these blessings and virtuous energies, we can improve our own tantric meditations. 

Join us for this 7 session retreat. We will arrange the sessions as follows:

  • 1 session on the definitive Guru Yoga that precedes our self-generation practice

  • 1 session on the experience of great bliss and emptiness

  • 2 sessions on clear appearance and divine pride

  • 2 sessions on the recognition of the deities as the nature of our purified channels and drops

  • 1 session on mantra recitation

All sessions and meditations will be enhanced with commentary from Essence of Vajrayana and Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche's oral instructions. These instructions will help all HYT practitioners, regardless of whether we emphasize Heruka or Vajrayogini.
