Transforming Pain: Mini Retreat at the Fort Worth Nature Center
Dealing with physical, mental, or emotional pain can often feel overwhelming, however we don't need to be afraid or to push our pain away. Buddha taught many methods to help us not just cope with pain, but to transform it through spiritual practice, so that we gain insights that gradually release us from pain. Through learning how to work with our mind and heal on deeper levels, we will develop an inner flexibility and resilience that will allow us to feel grounded and safe, and to become a source of benefit for others.
In this mini-retreat, Gen Menla will introduce a Buddhist approach to transformation of pain and guide us through healing meditations that will empower us to feel confident and free, ready to face whatever challenges may come.
