Life presents to us a range of experiences, but in reality, these experiences are colored by our state of mind. If we develop positive states of mind, we have better experiences. Eventually, we will always have a happy mind and a level of wisdom that experiences everything as joyful. Such a practitioner literally goes from joy, to joy, to joy.
If we can learn to be inwardly joyful and peaceful regardless of what is going on around us, we create an island of peace - where our spiritual practice transforms our own experience and that of those around us for the better. Over time, we will learn to abide within our peaceful mind all the time.
So, let's start building our peace of mind and travel from joy to joy! Everyone is welcome.

What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.

Parking
Validated parking is available for this class. We validate parking only in the Park Place Parking lot directly across from us on the corner of Lamar, Laws, Corbin and Munger directly across from the Temple. Do not pay in the lot. Just tell us your license plate number when you check in and we do the rest!
Live Streaming for this class is available for KMC Texas Monthly Members that are unable to attend in person.
