Modern life, with all its speed and distraction, can often leave us feeling isolated—even when surrounded by others. Let’s investigate the roots of loneliness and the tender truth of our interdependence. Drawing on core Buddhist teachings, this series offers practical practices to cultivate kindness, presence, and genuine connection in daily life. Each class provides space to slow down, feel what is often overlooked, and rediscover our shared humanity. Together, we’ll learn how turning inward with awareness naturally opens the heart outward in compassion. This is an invitation to transform loneliness into connection—within ourselves, our relationships, and the wider world.
What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
Venue
Classes are held at Inclusion Coffee, where the founders believe that some things that go without saying - acceptance, love and respect - should be said the most.
