What do we grow in the garden of our mind? Learning how to cultivate happiness, like a farmer of virtue, is a special skill that we must train in. If we wish to be happy, especially in challenging times and circumstances, then we need to know how to cultivate our mind.
This meditation class will present simple techniques that can be gently incorporated into our lives. There is no need for drastic or dramatic changes. Just simple transformation through the cultivation of joyful attitudes.
What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for everyday living.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class is self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
