The Anatomy of Meditation
Building a Better Meditation Practice
Meditation Series at KMC Texas
Thursdays from 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
In-Person, or Online for KMC Texas Members
Feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
Our body as a whole functions because of its many parts. In the same way, there is an anatomy of meditation - certain parts that connect to each other to bring strength to our meditations. We can think of the different qualities and skills we need to develop as being like the parts of the body of our meditation practice.
If you want to improve as a meditator, this series of classes is an excellent opportunity. Each week we will focus on a different part of meditation and how we can improve it. Join us for any - or all - of the classes.
Everyone welcome.
What to expect:
- Classes are approximately 1-1/4 hours long.
- Classes include two guided meditations and a talk on Buddhism for daily life.
- Occasionally Q&A is offered at the end of the class.
- Although part of a series, each class self-contained so you can check out any single class or jump into the series midstream.
